Welcome to the J-Spot community! Our goal is to create a fun, safe, and authentic space where “JSpotters” can connect with the best local spots in the Triad. To make sure everyone has a great experience, we ask that you follow these guidelines when using our platform.
1. Be Respectful We’re all neighbors here. Treat fellow JSpotters, our partner JSpots, and their staff with courtesy and respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats of any kind. Healthy debates and different opinions are welcome; personal attacks are not.
2. Keep It Real & Local J-Spot is a celebration of the Triad. We encourage you to share your genuine experiences at our local partner venues.
- Reviews & Comments: Share your own firsthand stories. Honest and constructive feedback is helpful; off-topic rants, personal grievances, or secondhand stories are not.
- Authenticity: Don’t impersonate others or create fake accounts to mislead users or business owners.
3. No Spam or Self-Promotion Our platform is for discovering J-Spot events and partners. Please do not use reviews, comments, or your user profile for unsolicited commercial advertising, spam, or self-promotion.
4. Be Safe and Follow the Law We are an all-inclusive community. Do not post content or engage in any behavior that promotes illegal activities, is sexually explicit, or depicts graphic violence. Always follow local laws and the rules of the venues you visit.
5. How to Write a Great Review Your reviews help other JSpotters make great choices! A helpful review is:
- Specific: Instead of “it was good,” say “the wings were perfectly crispy and the live music was a great touch!”
- Constructive: If you had a bad experience, focus on the facts in a calm and respectful tone.
- Relevant: Keep your review focused on your experience at the venue or with the Spotlight deal.
Enforcement Violating these guidelines may result in the removal of your content, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban from the J-Spot platform. We reserve the right to enforce these rules at our discretion to protect the health of our community.
